Originally from New York, Jesse Ricciuti’s dad was a general dentist. Growing up, his dad used to take him into the office, which is where he became exposed to the world of dentistry. He has always had a passion for helping people and relieving pain, so he knew that oral surgery was his calling.
Dr. Ricciuti studied business administration, marketing, and geography at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Stony Brook University in New York in 2015 as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the same time. Dr. Ricciuti completed his residency at the Yale-New Haven Hospital where he practiced hands-on oral and maxillofacial care alongside highly skilled and qualified surgeons.
Motivated by the urge to help others and inspired by the complexities of different cases, he enjoys waking up every day knowing that he is able to practice the medical art of oral surgery care to his patients. After he finishes treatment, he feels like patients really enjoy their results, and he finds that restoring others’ confidence is the most rewarding part about being an oral surgeon.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ricciuti enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing, boating, and experimenting with new food and restaurants.
